Smarter card authentication, without unnecessary friction
We've introduced Adaptive 3D Secure (3DS) to help make card payments more secure without adding unnecessary steps to checkout.
Adaptive 3DS evaluates the payment context to determine when additional cardholder authentication is required. When it isn't needed, the payment can proceed without an extra verification step. When it is required, the customer is guided through the authentication process before the payment is submitted.
For insurers collecting premiums and other payments online, this provides a more tailored approach to authentication while keeping the payment experience straightforward for policyholders and customers.
Manage card payment disputes directly in Acclaim
Teams can now review and manage card payment disputes directly in Acclaim. A dedicated dispute details page brings together the disputed amount, reason, status, response deadline, and associated payment information. For supported payment processors, users can also accept a dispute or submit a defense with supporting documentation.
This brings another part of the payment lifecycle into Acclaim, giving teams a more connected way to manage payments and the activity that follows.
What's next
We're continuing to expand what insurance teams can do with Acclaim, bringing more payment workflows, information and controls together in one platform.
